(1) If any person knowingly falsifies any document in the fund under this Act or knowingly causes it to be falsified, that person shall be liable to imprisonment for a term up to 2 years or Rs. shall be punished with a fine of up to two thousand or both, and if the said person has caused damage to the fund, the amount of such damage shall also be paid to the fund by him. If so, he will be punished with imprisonment for up to two years or a fine of up to five thousand rupees or both. 1000 will be fined up to 1000. (4) If an employee who is responsible for depositing the amount of the depositor in the fund is found not to have deposited such amount in the fund, such employee will be fined an amount equal to the amount that should be deposited in the depositor's fund and the interest received from the fund on that amount. 5) In addition to the fine mentioned in sub-section (4), the fund will send the employee who does not deposit the depositor's amount to the fund in writing to the authority for departmental action according to the prevailing law.
